Spicy food, hot music, hot weather and cold cervesa are on the menu for the 1st Annual San Felipe Salsa Festival, July 3, 2010 in San Felipe, Baja California. Playa de Oro - Rumors Bar & Grill is the place for a one-day celebration of everything salsa – the food, the music, and the dance. You can taste it, you can dance it, and you can even take it home!

Please, no coolers. Pets are welcome on site, so long as you're responsible

HOT SUMMER FUN IN SAN FELIPE - FREE TO THE PUBLIC

If you're looking for hot summer fun in San Felipe over the 4th of July holiday weekend, then there is no better and more affordable way to have a good time. This is the first annual San Felipe Salsa Festival and the 2nd Annual Horseshoe Tournament; in an effort to get everyone involved, we have created a variety of activities for everyone!

Salsa Making Competition

Interested in submitting your salsa recipe?

The Best Tasting Salsa Challenge is a culinary contest showcasing the prominence and popularity of our #1 condiment in the Baja: SALSA! We encourage all professional and amateur chefs to prepare their freshest salsa and to compete for a fabulous GRADE PRIZE - $100 DOLLARS! Categories include individual, restaurant and business with hot and mild categories in each.

Salsa Constants must be set up by 10:30am

Salsa Constants need to be ready for judging at 11:30am & tasting by 12pm

3rd Annual Horseshoe Tournament

Interested in throwing some horseshoes?

The last two years we've hosted the San Felipe Horseshoe Tournament and had a great time, the first year at Cantu Cove their were 32 teams competing, this year we hope to do it again. Join at Rumors Bar & Grill for a single elimination tournament. We will all have fun and throw some shoes for your chance at the first place trophy and prize.
